prop Question

I have a 60hp evinrude that was given to me. when I got it the prop was just sitting on the shaft unattached with out any parts. my question is what do I need, To attach the prop.model no 60452S serial no E01398 also what year is the motor I thought it was a 1960 But I was told the other day that evinrude made the 60hp after 1964 ? Engine year can be found at the Swedish site <br /><br />I'd suggest you get a manual for it. Will be a great help in many respects - also for maintenance and service.

RexRacer<br />It is a 1964, best prop might be OMC p.n. 379260 prop-10"X9 1/2",309947 prop nut, 309954 drive pin.<br />There is a number on your prop somewhere, 012042 is a Michigan Prop part number.<br />Backfire

Thanks backfire that is helpfull info I have one More question what is the propnut is that the cap that goes on the end of the shaft.I did get the pin that goes through the hole in the prop and the shaft but I don't see were a propnut would go. The only number I can find on the prop is pj76 1 1/8 x 11 sorry for my lack of boat smarts RexRacer
