Would like to compile a list of props known to work, ones from other motors known to fit. Or part #'s known to fit this particular engine.

Do y'all think a Turning Point Hustler prop H1-1317 will fit this engine if I use a Michigan hub kit # 102 or Master Guard 30 from Turning Point.
The Turning Point hub kits and the Michigan hub kits are interchangeable.

I've been searching for HOURS trying to figure this out.

HERE'S THE DEAL:
I found a Michigan Vortex part # 992114 that fits a 90HP Honda (15 spline) that fits the 1988 Force 85HP due to the hub interchange system.
The prop finder ALSO SHOWS that Honda 90HP has a HUSTLER PROP available with interchangeable hub, part # H1-1317 so if it is like the Vortex prop it should fit (if I'm lucky).

So if the same part # Vortex is listed for both engines, wouldnt that Hustler prop fit my motor with a hub kit?

BayFisher, I just went to Michigan Wheels website and they do say your motor uses a 102 hub kit xhs. My understanding is any prop that uses the xhs hub kit can be used on your motor. that is why they started using the hub kits, so all they had to do was change hub kits to make their propellers fit almost any motor. I believe almost everybody will start doing this, because it means one prop can fit manyyyy motors. I bought the Apollo prop for my 1995 Force 40 with the XHS hub kit for that very reason, if I go to sell it I will have a large market to sell to. Mine takes a 13 spline shaft and I can use a bunch of mercury props, but I am not sure it is the same for the 1988 85 HP. I would just call them and ask can you use the hub kit 102 for that hustler prop. I hope this helps you.

I e-mailed Michigan Wheel to see what the equivalent MasterTorque part # would be .. but I doubt they will tell me. ;)

I compared some of the engines listed for the 102 KIT and it comes up as MasterTorque Hub Kit # 30
That's the one which comes with a 15 spline

I found out the Hustler prop takes a Master Guard hub kit # 30
A 1998 and earlier Honda 90HP prop may work.

So, with that info, I am going to order a prop for a 97 Honda 90HP outboard
13-1/4 x 17P which is also 15 spline so the hub kit # 30 will work with it.
Hopefully the flange fits. I will let you all know.

There have got to be more choices for props.. just gotta ask yourself why they won't work. I may order this prop and discover it doesn't fit, who knows.
But it is the correct spline, and is if the Vortex prop works with the Force 85HP this one should too from what I'm guessing.

But again I am only guessing. If someone knows for sure it would be nice if they would speak up. :D
