prop questions

I have a 1969 Evinrude 25HP, pin drive. I am looking to find a replacement prop before I go on vacation. I have a 14 ft mirrocraft 3614 boat. I am wandering if the current 10x9 is a good choice or, should I choose different. I plan on having 2 gas cans, motor, me and one passanger. Please advise.

Are you sure it is 10 x 9, and not 9 x 10? 9 x 10 is the stock prop. OMC did a pretty good job of supplying the best prop for the average boat the motor was likely to be used on. I'd say it (9 x 10) would be good to go.
