I think its time for a new prop, my current one is pretty beat (previous owner), my gas consumption and rpms are horrid.
1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
extreme gas consumption and high rpm;s
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless and as a minimum.
some 15+ year old aluminum prop
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
13 1/2 dia and 15 putch
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
Around 6 grand.
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
1985 evinrude e70elco 70hp
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight
1986 Thundercraft. 16'2 Dont know the model but i do beleive it is a regency o/b. no idea about weight.
i will be buying the prop off iboats.
Here is a quick vid of holeshot if it helps any..
