Re: Prop removal
Well, assuming the 89 is similar to an 85 raise the motor, remove the prop nut by turning counter-clockwise as viewed from the back of the engine, slide the prop off and watch where the washer goes, tap it slightly with a piece of wood if it's stuck. It sounds too easy but that's it. Grease the spline before replacing the prop so it comes off easy the next time.
