I am thinking I should have my aluminum prop refurbished and was wondering if there was a place someone could recommend in Minnesota (or nearby) to have it done. Thanks in advance.

Any good propshop. Maybe you should consider a new prop - bargains on this site.
Would even allow the old one to retire to 'spare'

Mn is big, where are you near? There are prop shops near the cities. Any local marine dealer will have a shop or two that they use, or will recommend.

Re: Prop Repair

Thanks for the responses. I am 40 miles west of Minneapolis and thought maybe some of our other Minnesotans might have had good work from some certain business. I most certainly will NOT go through the local marine dealer because of last year's fiasco. Happy boating.

Re: Prop Repair

Ofcourse a complete refurb involves more skill than just rehubbing, so asking for others' experience is good. Still, unless you get a very good deal on the job, I'd go for a new prop. Shop around, order online and it'll sit in your mailbox within short. May even work better than the old one.

The ol' prop will do as a spare if it's fairly OK.
