Re: prop ?s

If you do a search on pitch on this site you quick learn that is the number of inches per prop revolution the boat gains in theory. Now do a search on prop slip :).

For your boat we would need to know the rpm's at WOT, what prop you are running now and the speed of your boat at WOT (wide open throttle).

Re: prop ?s

Pitch is measured in inches a 17" pitch will move 17" each revolution (disregarding slip).increasing pitch (higher numbers) will increase speed but reduce rpm and power, assuming the motor can turn it.decreasing pitch will generally increase power increase rpm. but may reduce speed these scenerios all depend on the present prop and rpm range.
