I finally got an old 1980 90HP inline 6 running thanks to all the help this community has given me!!

The prop thats on it is pretty beaten up, and I am considering getting a new one but do not know what pitch I would need. Here is some relevant information:

Its a 90HP outboard
It's on a 16ft bayliner capri.
The boat will likely be used for mixed purposes. Pulling kids on tube, crabbing/fishing, just cruising, etc.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The WOT RPM range for the inline 6 90hp is 4500 - 5000. Engine makes its best power between 4700 - 4800 rpm with a sharp drop off in power above 5000 rpm.
A 17" on that combo should put you near the sweet area. Probably that's what is currently on it now
