Hey guys,

I hope all is going well. Got a question for you. How come there is no literature anywhere regarding a 2000 Ficht 75hp? Was that an engine that was introduced in mid year? The reason I am asking is because I have been looking around for a SS prop and all of the prop selectors out there make no mention of a 2000 4cyl 75hp. I believe that has the same gearcase as a 90hp? Also would I notice a significant difference in W.O.T. going from a 13.75X15 aluminum prop to a 13X17 SS? Thanks for your input!

Re: Prop Selection

Shouldn't make any difference. Just look for a 75hp. Evinrude prop. I don't think there were any changes in the prop shaft.

c/6

Hooty

Re: Prop Selection

Any 13 spline for 4-cyl 73' to present will work.
As far as the 13X17- It would be a 13.25X17, or 13-3/8X17....the diff in rpm SHOULD be around 200rpm lower (with the 17").
Lots of good 17" S.S. props out there!
