Do you have to take apart the lower to reseal the DP prop shafts? Does volvo sell the seals in doubles, or individually? In the schematic there are 2 seals per prop shaft. Just to know when ordering...

Taking it apart to get to the seals to remove them, inspect the shafts and installing the new ones correctly, is the proper way to do the job.

Does volvo sell the seals in doubles, or individually? In the schematic there are 2 seals per prop shaft.

Look at the parts diagram. If it says qty 2, then you need to order two and face them opposite per the manual.
