I have asked questions regarding my prop size before. Boat is 23 foot campion cuddy. New engine. Mc-1 outdrive. Prop size now is 14.5x19p. Little slow on the get on plane for me. Wot is about 3800-4000. I've been given a 13x19p. Any suggestions. My thought is put it on and go for a rip

Not sure what the recline is. My.manual says wot is 3800- 4200. I'm not sure what vent the prop means I've never heard that term

I would ask your engine builder what the recommended WOT is on it. the 3800-4200 was the merc recommendation for the original engine back in the day.

Would think that the 13" diameter or porting would allow it to spin up faster, What would probably be even better is dropping to a 17" which would likely land you around 4200-4400 which I would think would be fine for a fresh SBF even though it is just above the OEM rpm spec.

Presumably the engine has been replaced at some point. See if you can find out the rpm range. I’d think you might want or go down an inch or two though, at first glance.
