Prop size/pitch general question

I am new to boating and last year purchased a 20' deck boat with a 150hp mercury xr6 outboard. I damaged the prop last fall and need to replace it. I currently have a mercury 15"/19 pitch alum prop. What are good options for diamater and pitch to replace with. I am also considering upgrading to stanless steel. I am new and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good advice^^.
You may be able to have your prop repaired at a prop shop.
Then get us your info and we may be able to help with a selection.

I have a 2004 Hurricane Deck Boat. Approximate weight is 2800 lbs. Engine is Mercury XRG6150hp outboard. Current prop is Mercury 15"/19 pitch, alum. black max.

Re: Prop size/pitch general question

In order to tell if your setup works, whether a change is in order and what change
we need your wot(wide open throttle)rpm and speed. If you do get your prop fixed
and do need a prop change you can keep the prop for a spare or sell it.
