Re: Prop size

If its a long shaft motor (perhaps indicated by the L) it came with a 13 3/4 X 17.
the short shaft came with a 11 3/4 X 17.
12" pitch would be pretty far down the scale. It appears the long shaft may have a large gearcase. Your actual pitch would depend on the application.

Re: Prop size

ok,, maybe i not measuring it right,, diameter is straight across a circle i believe & that is what i measured outside edge to outside edge, & i come up with about 12",,, how to you measure it?? & what do you mean by the PITCH & the Application ?? & yes that is the correct model # 75ELR77S ,, & yes i do know how to measure the back of the boat & that is 21" now where do i measure on the shaft to make sure it is a LONG SHAFT ???,, BY the way how do you come up with 2 measurements in the prop ?? 13 3/4 X 17 ,, or 11 3/4 X 17 the X & 17 are my Question too

Re: Prop size

ok i just did a bunch of measuring & found out that I HAVE A SHORT SHAFT PROP on THIS LONG SHAFT motor ,, because what i did was look up the measurements for the SHORT SHAFT model 75ER77S & it came up with the 11 3/4" diameter,, so i guess now my question is\,, how do i get it back to the way it is supposed to me so it matches the model # on the motor 75ELR77S & about how much is it going to cost me ????
