I've found there is a part, hard rubber or plastic, that slides or snaps on the front of a small hub Merc prop, that makes it the same size O.D. as a big hub Merc prop. It reduces the exhaust aerating the water in front of the prop, so makes the small hub work with a big gearcase with no disadvantages. A buddy of mine has one on one of his props, but there are no names nor numbers on it anywhere. What is this part called & are they available anywhere ??? Thanks
