It means that the propellers center rubber hub has separated or broke loose from the barrel of the prop and allowing the prop to spin independently from the hub and spline.

nice name... you know you could have just put that info in your profile!! just kidding :D <br />As Ob said, props are two pieces in that they have an inner "hub" that connects to the shaft from the motor and then this is attached to the "propeller" part of the prop. That way, the theory is if you hit something (like an oyster reef), the prop will separate at the junction between the hub and the propeller sections . This allows the shaft to continue to rotate w/o damage. Doesnt always work but helps. That is what the term "spun prop" is referring to. THe lower ends shaft will turn but the propeller wont because it is seperated from its hub. Hope that helps!

Take it to a prop shop to be rehubbed. Typically < $50.
