Hi,

I've got a 1970 6HP seahorse - came with the sailboat I recently purchased. Runs pretty good, and just winterized.

I tried to pull the prop off - remove prop nut, then tried to pull the prop off - no can do. Won't budge. Assume it is rust welded. I tried WD-40 and T-9 Boeshield - nothing.

Best that I just leave it on? Any other tricks to remove. THx

Rick

If you aren't planning on using it again, carefully cut it off! Might also try a little heat from a propane torch on middle the prop and see if that helps. Keep spraying it with PB blaster or similar product and let it sit for a few days. Then heat it up a bit and somewhat forcefully try to remove it.
