prop suggestion please

20.5ft bayhawk bayboat with 200hp johnson.
What size prop is recommended (pitch) for best all around performance.

That would be the prop that puts you at or near 5800 with an average load. What prop do you have and how does it perform (top rpm & accurate speed)? Once we have those numbers we can calculate the % of slip and go from there. Probably a prop with good bow lift would help.

ok.. i dont have a prop and have never run one on this boat.. i purchased the boat seperate and the motor seperate..
just looking for a starting point.
its a 20.5ft tunnel bayboat and 200hp johnson

I'd start with probably a 19 to try. I'd say that with your Turbo lift you can run some extra X dimension (height) so you might be able to swing more.

A couple of thoughts -
is this the Bayhawk model with the true tunnel in it?
By any chance is there a small C or CR on the end of the proshaft where the nut goes? (look close)
