Well the boats's finaly broke in and I got a new stock 19p Volvo prop from the dealer. The boat came with a 21p but It never gets to the high end of the engine's RPM range with it. I hope to figure out my fuel usage between the two props this season.
19P VS 21P PROP TEST
Boat: 2008 Regal 2000 20ft, Volvo 5.7 GiSX 280hp, 1:51 drive ratio, Ser# 4202204173, 3500lb dry wt, 42 gal fuel, 2 passengers @ 420lbs
Conditions: 1200ft above sea level, Temp 73, wind less than 5mph, very light chop.
Method: All speeds GPS, Minimum 4 runs (2 in each directions). All numbers are average of at least 4 runs.
