Have a 150 Saltwater Merc and never really torqued the prop nut when greasing my prop shaft. Do you...and what ft lbs do you torque to

Ya know I figured about the same, so I contacted Merury and here's what they said

Mercury's recommendation is 100' pounds torque for props.

and this morning I got this;

100 ft lbs for Flo-Torq removable hubs.

55 ft lbs for solid hubs that are permanently mounted in prop.
