Prop tryouts ?

are there places that allow for different props to be tried out and then bought once you find what you like... is this something that anyone does or more like a pipedream that only makes sense in my head LOL...

Brett is definitely "the man" when it comes to props.

This is pretty common though and if you don't have any desire to "tweak" performance with a custom labbed prop you would save shipping $ by using someone local to you (unless you're near Bblades in Wisconsin). Many prop shops have a loaner program as well as many Mercury Marine dealers (for Merc props). Usually there is a small fee but not always...just depends on the shop.

I'd look up "prop repair" in the phone book and start there.
