Low rpm and low speed

2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum.
391290, aluminum

3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
15x17

4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)

Factory rpm rating is 5,500.We should confirm the sretup is right.The antivent plate(just above the prop)should be even with the bottom or slightly above.I usually suggest raising the motor to a point just before venting becomes a problem.Plate is usually visable at speed.Check that the throttle opens all the way at the carbs.Motor in excellent tune,bottom clean and smooth.prop in good shape.
Depending on the boats bottom design I think 39-40 could be possible.
Before any prop change confirm your setup.
A 17" pitch is pretty typical but a drop to a 15 could add "about" 400 rpm.
improve hole shot and may add some speed.But confirm your setup before any changes.
