Prop

Hey<br />On my 18 ft gemini bass boat i have a 125 rude long shaft... center of prop is about 3 inch's below the bottom of the boat. i went to a local prop shop and almost knocked the guy out beacuse he was tellin me that it wouldn't work. the boat just won't get on plane. I know many people with bass boats and i've gone and looked at theres. all there props are the same amount lower than the transom and theres works... do i have the wrong prop and the guy is full of it at my local prop shop?

Should be like this. Cavitation plate even with the bottom of the hull for starters...<br /><br />BTW- Have you ran it on the water yet and how does it do?<br /><br />
