Propeller shaft backlash

1991 Force 70 HP

Just finished rebuilding the water pump and noticed that Force service manual listed the Propeller shaft backlash and my backlash checked according to manual is about .200 of a inch. my last usage of the motor was fine. Should I just get my nose out of the service manual and go boating or do have a problem and need to rebuild (ugh) my lower unit.

If it ain't broke,don't fix it.
Now if you have metal in the oil???
Then worry.
