I have a 2003 bayliner with an alpha 1 gen 2 stern drive. I'm not sure whether I should use 30w or power steering fluid. My manual doesn't specify, for some odd reason. Any ideas? The link shows a picture of the pump.

Thanks for the help.

Just to clarify I'm referring to the trim cylinders on the stern drive, not the trim tabs. I bought the quicksilver trim and power steering fluid, but I want to make sure that's the right stuff before I add any.

I found a iso 32 or 20 hydraulic or jack oil at my local auto parts store that is the same as what merc packages for like $15 a gallon...used a turkey baster to suck out the reservoir refill it , ran the drive up and down... repeated a couple times to painlessly flush the fluid.
