What's the best way to remove a stuck gasket on a Force outboard motor?
Removed the fuel recirculation system covers on my 125 Force to clean the screens and a partial layer of the bottom gasket stuck to the engine surface. The top came off clean, the one easy to get to.
The aluminum is soft and in a hard to reach place don't want to nick the surface up.
Scraped the covers clean and no matter how careful I was, still nicked them some.
Is there a tool that is made for the job of gasket removale on aluminum engines? Thanks!

NAPA sells some spray on gasket remover. Not sure what it'll do to your paint if it gets on it though. Might try that and see what it does. $3 or $4 bucks a can.

That's probably what I'll end up useing in the long run!
If I had a lot to remove, probably would go with the gasket remover, guess I was being too picky!
