What:1976 wellcraft Nova 250 offshore, with twin standard rotaion Mercruiser ford 302's with 4 barrel carbs.

Remove drive, put in gear

Rotate drive 10 times counting drive shaft and prop shaft rotations. This will give ratio

WOT Range for Engines of that Era, is likely 3700-4200
I think that Engine was about 215hp

Edit: "(No Outdrives on the boat when I got it )"

Did the Outdrives at least come with the Boat-Motor?

Copy that, One more question. If I provide the Serial number for the outdives ( The gold stickers are still on the outdrives) is there a database that provides this info?

Yes, Merc is the only place and it takes someone with access the the data base to get the info of ratio.

Most boats come with the 1.5 unless their real heavy. Props would be in the 19 and 21 pitch. The 302 not being a power house and a 25foot boat, I would go with the 19

X2 on the 19” as a good starting point. Might be better to rough in wot rpm with less expensive black max props
