The mircrophone stand was going to become a rudder. But it was determened that leaning worked much better for steering.

the gas tank will be located under the chair, surrounded in expanding foam, for floation and saftey.

also, the hydrolics and cables will be buckeled across the riders chect and a chest control doubling as a saftey harness.

opinions?

If you are over 200 lbs, you need to re-inforce the area at the engine clamps. One good wake and you will be playing Christ: Walking on water.

And why the small engine? Are you a wuss afraid of a little speed?

I think you'll have a problem getting it up on plane. It would plane much quicker if you bolted a hydrofoil to each of your shoes and put Smart Tabs on the propellor.

That chair will raise your center of gravity and add unneccessary weight. A better idea is to put on a life jacket (for safety), clamp the motor to a motor mount bolted on back of the life vest, the controls may be mounted to the front of the life vest, and you should sit on a floatation cushion. The gas tank is in your lap, or better yet, wear a ten-galllon hat like the cowboys and fill it with gas.


Obviously you will need to point your toes to steer, and I recommend smooth sand beaches for starting and landing.

It needs to be a rocking chair, then the rockers will act as ski's and help you get on plane faster. You can also lean backwards or forwards and change the angle of the hull as the rockers are curved!!

I guess you're too much a girlie man for the transom belt? A belt with a piece of wood attached to act as a transom. Of course you'd need to use one of those "beer hats" as a "gas hat" and wear water ski's. I think it worked good for Will E Coyote... but you might have to trade the Merc for an ACME motor.

I say rotate the prop by hand until it starts; like the old biplane engines.

the us cg rules, state that the vessel must have proper foam or air, so if the vessel gets swamped it will still float.
may i suggest drinking a lot o beer, and dont burp!
also i dont see a bilge pump! you might wanna bolt one under the drivers seat!
also that looks like a 50 hp motor. with 10% prop slip, best your gonna get at 7000 rpm is 38.7 mph!

Or he could eat eggs and cauliflour and beans... that way he'll have the added benefit of never running out of gas, er fuel.

Maybee i dont understand. Dont you guys think this is crazy??? Really. I mean for real. What if its a kid or something thats really going to try this! I think he should at least make sure that there is a NOS system hooked up. If he starts to sink he can hit a button and it will take it up on plane again. I mean really you dont want it to sink! This is pretty cheezy though i have a LazyBoy with twin Yamaha 225's. I had 150's and i was always worried about my chair sinking!

My SIL and maybe my MIL is looking for work, they might be interested in a test pilot position...don't know if either can swim, but I probably won't ask.

hay i was thinking about the running light !! Nipple clamps !! Hock up acouple wires to the gen, and the just clip them to the nipple claps !! it wouldnt have to be big wires for some LED lights !!! what do you think ???? John ps, rember safty frist !!!!!
