It's going to make him a new man. Will make you even more proud. In this day and age i believe they should re institute the draft. It would make the younger generation something better then most are today.

Congrats NYBo, I know exactly how you feel. My oldest son did 4 years in the Navy and came back a man. He is now using his college money to start his career. And now my youngest is talking with the Marine corp recruiter and it looks like he will be off here soon. They take away a boy and send you back a Man that you can be proud of, not that you aren`t already but it definitely changes them. I did 4 in Uncle Sugars Army and it changed my life around, teaches you Respect something kids now days dont seem to have. Tell him G/L and stay safe. Will keep him our prayers.
