Just wanted to sign in and introduce myself and my new project. I am both excicited and uncertain about what is in front of me. I just purchased a 1962 Starcraft Starchief. The hull is excellent the interior is less than perfect. Am looking forward to picking the brains of you experienced restorers.

Welcome to iBoats my friend! That?s a sweet looking boat. I love the classic look and I personally love something with a bit of a cabin.

I?m restoring an 85 VIP Tri Hull. Just so you know this forum has proven to be a wealth of knowledge, experience, ideas, and inspiration for me. The users here are extremely helpful and they have sure helped me to move past that ?uncertain? part of it all. Keep us posted on your progress, ask questions, and post pics! You?ll find there are a lot of people in this with you!

Welcome to the STARMADA!!! Sweet looking mini chief and in much better shape than mine when I started. Follow the link Bananaboater posted and you'll be all set up. Get some cold ones and settle in for some good reading. Everything you could do to that boat has been done or pondered before so no worries.

Welcome aboard. Nice find and I see a big Johnson strapped to the flat bed too. Plenty of good advice will be offered by the Starmada membership, a very experienced group. Have fun!
