Prowler Trolling Motor Speed Problem - Help

I have a 55lb Bass Pro motor (PRW-T55/40B) that should have 5 forward and 2 reverse speeds. The 2 reverse and the 1st 3 forward speeds work fine, but then no increase when you turn to 4 or 5. Any thought on which component might be the culprit? Any thought on whether or not I can fix it? Thanks.

Probably the switch, that's my SWAG. I'd check the connections to the switch first though, maybe there's a loose spade connector or wire. Pop the top of the head off and see what it looks like. Just hope BPS had a replacement parts...
