The motor is not hitting the transon, however the hydraulic steerring hoses are severely stressed when my motor is at maximum tilt up. The OEM manual taught me that the adjustable rotary ring with the cam on it which can be rotated to hit the limit switch can be moved to effectively stop the motor tilt at where you want it.
Understanding that it is "maxed out" in the direction I want it to move in in order for the cam to connect the limit switch. That being established, can I loosen the "collar" next to that cam ring and reset the position without hurting anything. This motor seems close to parallel to the ground when fully up. Not necessary.
One more question. The "Trailer LocK" or motor support on this thing, the bracket you push down and tilt the motor onto, is this really all I need to tow? Or should I continue to use the afternmarket support that goes from the drive to the trailer rear roller?
Thanks.
