PTT assembly removal - Yamaha C80 1997

Motor is tilted up and all bolts removed. Assembly slides up about an inch and stops. I am trying to remove the assembly out the back from the bracket. Do I have to unbolt the bracket and motor from the transom and remove it forward?

You will need to support the engine and remove one side of the transom bracket
