1. Is there some where on the drive gear assembly? Or are they supposed to be squared, or cornered off on the ends.
2. Is there supposed to be much/any play in the Roller bearing? I can move it side to side a bit.
3. If there is not supposed to be movement in the roller bearing, what damage can/would this cause?

Thanks

I assume you mean wear. Those gears look like they were put in yesterday.... You should be able to move the driven shaft a bit when the top cover is removed. Which roller bearing are you referring to? If you mean the top one, the rollers and the cage will move when the outer race is not in place (it's in side the top cover you removed). Don't pull the race out as there are shims under it. Make sure you torque the top cover screws correctly when you replace it. 20lb-ft.... Too much and you'll increase the preload on the bearings and they'll overheat and die.
