I Plan on starting stripping and painting this weekend. I picked up 6 pieces of cribbing 12x16 to set the boat on. We are lifting boat off the trailer With a boom off a portable beef cutting trailer. My question has to do with placement of my cribbing and will I need to have any angle to my cribbing to set the boat? My plan was to nail 2x4s cut to 8in and step them to create my angle if I need to. Hopefully I explained clear enough what Im trying to do just not sure where to place cribbing

Re: Pulling Boat from trailer

my trailer has 2 big bunks that hold my 21 ft cc mariner, i would think if you look at your trailer you can see where to support the boat. my bunks are cut at an angle to match the hull, so i would think you'ld want to do the same
