Hello Everyone,<br />I'm looking at purchasing a 1998 Bayliner Capri with a Force 90 engine and I'm wondering if that engine is big enough to pull a grown man out of the water on a ski. I found a great little boat. I like the small size, but am wondering about the power of the engine. Is it useless to go with this engine if I want to pull skiers or will it work just fine?

1986 Merc 75 HP 16 foot starcraft. Pulse skiers out with no problem. I think it has even pulled two skiers up at one time before.

1984 1600 capri with 1984 85HP force motor. This combo is a dog out of the whole compared to the merc and starcraft. I suspect that an engine tune-up might help. I'm going to install my tach and see what RPM I am at before I start tinkering.
