I'm pulling my stern dive off to check engine alignment. While its off what else should I check? Should I replace the bellows? And if so which ones or all of them?
What would the parts # be for these? It's a mercruiser alpha one serial # oc378381 model# 6010000AS
I want to order whatever I may need just not sure what should be replaced once I have the drive off.Everything like the ujoints should be ok but of course I won't know for sure until she's off.
Thanks everyone:):):)

Check the bellows to see if water was in it, check and grease the gimbal bearing, grease and check the ujoints, lube the splines on the coupler and shaft. Replace the gaskets and seals between the bellhousing and the drive.

Should I replace the bellows?
That depends on age and condition. Unfortunatily, we know neither.
