Pulling the HEAD OH NO!!

So as some of you know the problem was the water tube..came out with lower unit removal, also the sealing ring, spacer, and ruber collar did not fall out with the driveshaft. the thing I should do (from your advice :) ) is to pull the head. First time doing it (im 23 :) )....I need ALL the help I can get, I know it seems simple because im just doing it to get at that one certain thing and not going to mess with the head itself...but i want to do it RIGHT, and I know you guys can help. Are there certain steps, for taking it off and putting it on? things I should check? - T.H.

You'd have to pull the power head not the head. The powerhead is the engine block.
