Pulls to the right...

Hello all, I have a 1960 seamaster 15 foot fiberglass boat with a 1987 force 85 hp outboard. I took my new combo out yesterday and she ran like a champ! I have one issue I am hoping you all can help me solve though. I cant let go of the wheel, cant relax on the wheel. The boat pulls hard to the right! I have the motor mounted dead center of the transom, the snout is square to the wail tail. For the life of me I cant see why this is happening. If anybody has input I would love to hear.

hi cordell...

had that same hard right steer you have. for me it was all about the exhaust snout fin and adjusting it some until the continuous right disappeared. i also run a hydrofoil. i just reseated that and tightended it down before making my changes.

I adjusted the snout and no more turning to the right, Now it goes to the left!!!! lol j/k Thanks! :]
