I recently checked the diaphrams in the VOR pump by disconnecting the pulse limiter side and pumping the bulb. There was no gas/oil coming out, so it's assumed the diaphrams are good.

How does one test the pulse limiter?

Re: Pulse Limiter

The pulse limiter just needs to be checked for plugage and cleaned with a mild aerosol solvent to remove any carbon deposits. By the procedure you decribed on checking the diaphgrams you have only checked for leakage around the rod that connects the air pump side to the fuel side. If you suspect you have fuel Oil mix problems I would check in more detail as I had a diaphram failure lead to a rebuild within seconds. Do a search under VRO lots of good info. And a manual explains in detail how to properly test VRO.
