Purple/Yellow Wire, Where's it go?

I just received a new engine harness for my 5.7 repower project. I had a TB V ignition for the engine, so I bought a harness from a 1996 5.7 Alpha LX (it had the proper module connectors). I've got most of the harness installed and figured out, but there is one wire I'm not sure about. It exits the harness near the alternator and is purple and yellow. The only other purple and yellow wire on the harness goes to the choke. My Seloc manual doesn't go all the way up to 1996 and the diagrams I've found on line don't show this wire. My guess is it connects to one of the alternator terminals, but I'm not sure which one. Does anyone know where this wire connects?

Thanks,
Tom

Alternator to automatic choke. Choke is item 2
