I was holding out for one more day, like earlier this week but it didn't work out (wasn't much chance really). Didn't have a choice but to go ahead and winterize today since it's going to be pretty cold tonight.

I put fuel stabilizer in this time, ran it for 15min, and fogged through the carb (only). First time I've done either one of those, out of five times winterizing, not counting the time or two I've put it back together for another very late season run.

Yep winterized mine on Wed. As it turns out had a run of warm weather here in Long Island but I’d rather winterize on a 65 degree day than on a 40 degree day! Fogged. Drained manually & back filled with Sierra PG antifreeze. Next week I’ll pull the drive to check the bellows etc grease joints gimble and all that.

Tell me about that! High in the 40s here today and winds gusting into the 30s. I just crawled under the tarp for most of it, lol. I did have to pull it back while it was running because it was catching too much exhaust.

I told my wife to remind me to do it when it's warmer next time. She said "You won't". Lol.

I did the same thing with the pink stuff, down the water supply hose. Blew in it, filled it with pink A/F, blew in it again (much harder that time, lol), filled it one last time, made doctor appointment for blown gasket check (jk)... Much easier than removing that wretched PS cooler screw though.

I haven’t removed that p/s cooler plug in years….I put the drive down and fill that water intake hose till the AF comes out the drive water intakes. Never had a problem that way. I guess you could use a small wet/dry vac to blow it out first.

Maybe I just needed to wait for it (to come out pink). Didn't have anyone back there to look at it this time.
