Puttin a deck on a Jon Boat

I am thinking about putting a deck on my jon boat. I am wondering what kind of materials to use and how to attach it to the boat. i would like to be able to still access the live well so i would assume that i would just but a door in over it. i need to know how to prevent rotting as best as possible and stuff like that.

Exterior grade plywood(not pressure-treated) sealed with epoxy resin(1-2 coats, edges 3-4 coats) and attached using aluminum rivets.

I left my deck removable for my 12' tin can since it is easy to clean that way.

How big is the jonboat?

I have seen it done before with good results. Like Huron said, make it removable and you will have a great fishing boat.
