I want to leave my Seadoo down at the lake this year and I am thinking of building a Bunker Ramp from the water to shore to drive the PWC onto to keep it out of the water and lock it to when I leave the cottage. Looking at some of the PWC lifts out there, I think it is pretty easy to make something like this.

Does anyone have any tips or plans for building something like this. I would likely use Pressure treated lumber and lag bolt it beside my existing dock.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
GP

Re: PWC Drive on Dock Ramp Plans

After several years experiments with homemade, as well as, various pruchased pull-up ramps, I pirchased a PWC lift two years ago. My only regret is that I didn't do it 10 years ago...

PWCs are heavy, so a bunker ramp can be a pain to get it off. And the one year we had a late summer huricane, the Seadoo floated away and the ramp got ruined. Finally, no more hull scrapes, easy up, easy down, on the aluminum lift. Best $650 I've spent on boating. Shop...get one that's void of pinch points.
