Pyramid Lake Ca.

Looking for some good info about Lake Pyramid from some of the locals up there. I would love to camp there and I keep reading about a couple of boat in camp sites but I can't find any real good information about them. Any body know much about the lake or camping. Is it worth the drive from San Diego.

Ya, nice lake (stripers) and camping is not on the lake but close. Go to(fnn forum) they have a pyramid lake section plus the gal that works there is always ready to help with questions about the lake. Forum can get a little abrasive at times but good fishing Information there.

Thank you for the reply. Forgive my ignorance but I could not find any FFN forum regarding boats.

So there is no camping right on the waterfront? I was looking forward to leaving my boat in instead of having to take it out at night.
