QD 16 carburetor

I was wondering if a carb off of a QD 18 10 horse would work on my QD 16 10 horse motor, and if so what a fair price would be? Thanks

Same carb. As for price, I don't know. At a club meet, maybe $15. At least that's what I paid for a carb once, but that included a 12V electric choke solenoid. A dealer would probably charge $50+.

Is there are problem with your carb? Usually, all they need is a good cleaning. $20 for a carb kit is a lot less hassel than finding a new carb.

When I was removing pin from float the ear broke off. I guess I should have soaked in cleaner before trying to remove the pin. You live and learn. Thanks for the info. SP

Post an ad on the free webvertize board over at aomci.org. Someone there will sell you a good used carb for a reasonable price.
