QL77jc4 vs l77jc4 what is the difference

my buddys out board has 3 L77jc4 adn 1 Ql77jc4 is there a difference in the plugs? if so is there enough difference to warrant changing them to the QL's?

The Q plugs have less radio interference which is why they were introduced. If you have an engine with the optical system or QuikStart or S.L.O.W. you should use them. Theoretically, Q plugs will not upset your sonar, fishfinder, radar, GPS, radio, and other accessories.

I cannot personally vouch for the accessories issues because I have always used the Q plugs without a problem.

Agreed. Same plug except the Q has an inductive radio noise suppressor built in. Not the same thing as resistor plugs, BTW.

well, this engine is a 1975 115hp so i will leave them in there. i didnt know if it had anything to do with heat range or anything else. thanks for the clarification.
