Hello,
My owners manual calls for a Champion QL82C but the guy at Autozone gave me a QL82YC. Is there a difference? Why the "Y"? Any response would just make my day!
Thanks,
Little Bear :(

If these are what might be considered normal pugs, and not the surface gap type, the "Y" suffix usually will refer to a projected electrode. Be carefull the plug tip does not hit the pistons.

What motor? If it's a crossflow they may touch the pistons.

Good luck!
