question about a 1982 gamefisher 5hp

Is anyone familiar with the gamefisher ob.<br /><br />I took the carburator apart and found a small rubber <br />part. I looked at my diagram and can't find anything that looks like what I have. The parts page list this as a pump. It looks like it has been ripped in half, I was wondering if this is suppossed to be like this or not.

It's the fuel pump bladder, it's not supposed to be ripped. I'll bet you're getting gobs of gas to the motor. That's why. If you only use the tank on the motor, you can eliminate it. You just have to plug the port it fits into. You may be able to plug it off by flipping the gasket backwards.
