Question about lifting a 2000 Johnson 90

I have noticed on my motor that right above where the heads bolt on there is a (lifting eye?) machined into the block on both sides. Are these indeed lifting points, and would it be safe to lift the motor from these? Thanks again for the help I have received from this board!

Those "loops" are the lifting eyes, but you have to use a 3' chain and hook for each side, or use a crossbar system, so the strain is not faced inward to far. Make sure the hooks are not so big that they contact the motor components while lifting.
