my mercury classic fifty does not have clamps on the top of the tilt/trim bracket. i simply has four bolts run through the transom. well thats fine and dandy for someone that is planning to use the engine for the rest of its time on that boat. but for me. i just need to use it untill i can afford a 100. so i would rather not drill four large holes. any ideas? i can't find any information on it. any other classic fifty i look at has clamps on the top. i'm stumped.
